Flying Lotus really proved to be a master of his own with his 2014 album “You’re Dead!”. The cover art alone is a bomb. The overall dynamics on the album are crazy while the addition of artists like Kamasi Washington, Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat and Snoop Dogg make the results even more appealing. A standout track is the single “Never Catch Me” with K.Dot. Especially the music video is uplifting and gives a hint on the beautifully arranged electronica/jazz/hip hop tracks put together for the project.
