With a crispy mix between house, ambient and indie elements, korea-based songstress Yaeji has a bunch of great tunes in her repertoire. Examples are the energetic club banger “Raingurl” from 2017 and creatively outstanding Boiler Room performances here and here. Tender, almost whispered korean lyrics round up her musical style to make it sexy, exotic and uplifting at the same time.
Earlier this year, Yaeji released her 2020 Mixtape “WHAT WE DREW”. The song “WAKING UP DOWN” is one of the many great songs featured on the project and is blessed with a freaky but very cool animated music video. Check the video and the whole album out below!
